Lake Quivira Kitchen Remodel
This Lake Quivira kitchen remodel created a more open connection between the kitchen, dining area and adjoining living space. The finished room adds practical workspace, storage and seating while creating clearer movement through the center of the home.
An open layout designed around the home
Before photos show a partial divider between the kitchen and the adjoining room. Finished photos show the kitchen opening more directly toward the dining and living areas, with clearer movement between cooking, seating and gathering spaces.
Black cabinetry and accents create contrast against the white counters and light-toned flooring. A wood-toned island end adds warmth, while tall cabinetry and a dedicated wine-storage area add useful storage.
Connected spaces with room for art
The finished kitchen opens toward the living area, where the fireplace, piano and artwork are visible across the connected rooms. Black ceiling beams, window frames, cabinetry and lighting repeat throughout the space.
Before photos show the former partial wall and the more enclosed kitchen arrangement. The remodeled layout uses the same central area more effectively while preserving distinct places for cooking, seating and relaxing.
